Foxhouses Trip

A great day at Foxhouses as per usual. The weather held out although the temperature was pretty low but the sun shone for most of the day. The fish on the feed but they were only really taking Daphnia (see above). It took a bit of work to find fish and they were generally shoaled up in the shallows dotted around the lake. Fish taken included, Blues & Rainbows 2-4lb and lots more were lost. Best flies were anything with a Maraboo tail gently retrieved. Takes were very gentle but they didn't come in easily!
