Stuart Crofts demo "Natures signals" - 15th January

Stuart is a regular demonstrator for us, who often reminds us that if you can tie a whip finish you can tie small flies.  This time we were privileged to listen to a presentation looking at how to read the signals given to anglers, by nature as an aid to deciding the best methods and fly choice while fly-fishing on a typical river.  There was some lively debate during the evening, which we all enjoyed and I am sure, that as we left, most of us thought “the next time I go fishing I will approach things differently.”  Why do many of us often tackle up in the car park, tie on a fly or flies and then walk to the river and immediately begin to fish?
