Welsh Dee Trip

After a good hearty Breakfast in Llangollen, five of us set off for the White house beat. On arrival the water level was up a bit but none the less quite clear. The temperature did briefly come up a tad when the sun showed a short appearance through the cloud cover. This was enough to spark a small hatch of olives that brought the fish on to feed. Most of us caught and I believe Chris even had a PB Grayling.

Phil's Monster!

Size is everything, (Especially if you have a picture!)
It's getting deep!

Chris' monster catcher!

Not the biggest, but perfectly formed, 5 fish  in total from the author!

Stomach syringing samples indicated that the Grayling are still feeding close to the bottom.
