'The History of Long Leaders' Tuesday 20th October

John Pearson and Paul Gaskell will be providing a talk that will be based around some of the core principles that make up successful river nymph fishing techniques. The title is "Nymph Fishing & Long Leaders: Principles & Practice"

John Pearson is a fly fishing (and tenkara) guide and is a member of the Fish On Productions team producing the River Academy DVDs. John originally studied for a degree as a field biologist motivated by his obsession with all forms of angling and is a regular contributor to Total Flyfisher magazine.

Paul Gaskell is an angler with over 30 years experience, he has tied flies and fly fished for nearly 25 years - competing at national level and publishing articles in fly fishing magazines. Paul has a Ph.D in freshwater ecology and also works for the Wild Trout Trust.

The club welcomes  everyone who would like to attend - admission £5 only. Presentation starts at 7:30pm.
